[Windows Azure CDN] [Worldwide] [Red] Windows Azure CDN Partial Outage in Asia
Feb 9 2012 7:26PM A Windows Azure CDN Point of Presence (PoP) in Asia is malfunctioning due to network issues. The CDN team is actively engaged to resolve the issue. The PoP will continue serving cached content but is unable to deliver new content from origin.
Feb 9 2012 8:20PM Routing announcements have been turned off, causing traffic to divert to other points of presence. This results in improved availability and increased latency.
Feb 9 2012 9:00PM Issue was due to router maintenance with an external peer. The maintenance is complete, traffic has been restored, and performance in Korea has returned to expected levels.
