This issue affected a small number of customers connecting to the EU-WEST-1 Region. Full connectivity has been restored.
We are investigating connectivity issues in the EU-WEST-1 Region.
We have resolved the connectivity issue for the remaining instances. The Amazon EC2 APIs have also fully recovered. The service is operating normally.
Connectivity to the majority of affected instances has been restored. A subset of these instances were rebooted.
We are also experiencing increased error rates for Amazon EC2 API calls to EU-WEST-1.
We can confirm loss of connectivity to some instances in a single EU Availability Zone.

DNS resolution error rates have returned to normal. Intermittent DNS resolution errors were experienced between 2:45 PDT to 3:30 PDT. Requests to successfully resolved DNS names behaved normally during this time period.
We are continuing to see occasional intermittent DNS resolution errors. Requests that successfully resolve DNS names will behave normally.
Some customers are experiencing intermittent errors resolving DNS names for Amazon EC2 instances and APIs. We are currently investigating.
