9:41 PM PDT The restoration of the impacted EBS volumes is in progress. Most impacted volumes are expected to be restored within the next 90 minutes.
12:10 AM PDT We are still working on restoring the connectivity of the remaining EBS volumes.
3:33 AM PDT We have now restored connectivity to most EBS volumes. A few volumes are still in the process of being restored. The service is now operating normally.

3:59 PM PDT A subset of instances in a single Availability Zone in the US-EAST-1 region experienced degraded connectivity from 3:05pm PDT to 3:08pm PDT. Full connectivity has been restored.

Service is operating normally: [RESOLVED] Elevated EBS API error rates

From 7:10 to 8:00 PM PDT, EBS related API calls experienced elevated error rates in the US-East-1 region. Some EBS related API calls also experienced increased latency between 6:45 and 8:40 PM PDT. Error rates and latencies have fully recovered and the service is operating normally.
