Between 1:51 PM and 2:16 PM PST the EC2 APIs experienced increased error rates and latencies in the US-EAST-1 Region. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
Between 1:13pm and 2:45pm PST a small number of customers reported connectivity issues to the US-East-1 Region. These issues were the result of degradation in an external carrier’s link. Amazon has routed around the carrier’s degraded links and the issue has been resolved.
A small number of EBS volumes in a single AZ in the US-EAST-1 region experienced degraded performance from approximately 2:15 PM PDT to 2:43 PM PDT. The system is now operating normally.

Between 02:23 am and 02:28 am PDT a number of instances in a single availability zone experienced connectivity issues in the US-EAST-1 Region. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
Between 4:58 AM and 5:40 AM PDT a number of customers reported connectivity issues. These were a result of an issue limited to a single external DNS provider. This issue has since been resolved.
We are investigating possible connectivity issues affecting some instances in the US-EAST-1 region.
A small number of instances in a single availability zone in the US-EAST-1 region experienced network connectivity degradation between 3:00 PM PDT and 3:13 PM PDT. Performance for some EBS volumes in that single zone was also degraded during this time. Full instance connectivity and volume performance has been restored and the service is operating normally.
