The issue has been resolved and the service is now operating normally.
We are investigating increased error rates for API calls made to SimpleDB in EU-WEST-1 region.
From 2:05 PM PST to 2:40 PM PST some users may have experienced API errors in the EU-WEST-1 region. The issue has been corrected and the service is now operating normally.
Customers may have experienced problems connecting to the Amazon SimpleDB endpoint in EU-WEST-1. Connectivity to the APIs has been restored as of 2:30 PM, and the service is now operating normally.
Maintenance is complete. All API calls are available.
The maintenance window is now beginning.
Beginning on Jan 7th at 10:00 AM PST, domain operations in the EU-WEST-1 Region will be disabled for a period of 6 hours. Any CreateDomain or DeleteDomain API calls made during this time period will result in a 503 response. While we undertake this scheduled maintenance, all other API calls will continue to be served.
We’ve addressed an issue that was causing Domain API requests to time out. The service is now operating normally.
Requests to the CreateDomain, ListDomains, and the DeleteDomain APIs are timing out. All other APIs are functioning normally.
