Between 2:22 AM and 2:43 AM PST, some instances in Virtual Private Cloud experienced an outage of Domain Name Service (DNS) resolution. This issue is corrected and the service is operating normally.

Between 2:15 PM – 4:09 PM PST, some customers experienced elevated packet loss via VPN and Direct Connect to some VPC instances in the Northern Virginia (US-EAST-1) region. The service is now operating normally.

Service is operating normally: [RESOLVED] Elevated error rates for VPN tunnels

Between 2:44PM ” 3:16PM PDT, some customers experienced a condition where one tunnel of a VPN connection was down. Each VPN Connection is implemented as a pair of redundant IPSec tunnels. During this event, traffic was automatically re-routed to the working tunnel. Both tunnels are now available and the service is operating normally.

Between 6:10AM PST and 6:19AM PST, a small number of VPN Connections were out of service due to a network event with an upstream Internet service provider. This problem has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
