Service is operating normally: [RESOLVED] Delays in API describe call content

The issue has been resolved. Requests to describe newly created resources was delayed between 9:06AM PST and 9:40AM PST. The service is now operating normally.

Informational message: Delays in API describe call content

We are investigating delays in newly created resources being immediately available for describe calls in the US-EAST-1 Region. All other requests to the API are functioning normally. Running instances are not impacted.

Control Panel | Cloud Sites DNS Management

At this time, the add / delete functionality for Cloud Sites DNS records has been temporarily disabled within the control panel.  We are in the process returning this access and should have full functionality restored by Monday, February 1.  We certainly apologize for any inconvenience this has created.  If you need to add or delete any DNS records as we work through this issue, please contact a member of our support team and they will be happy to assist you.

Cloud Files Control Panel Issues [Resolved]

[18:45 CST] We are currently experiencing issues with the Rackspace Cloud control panel. Our engineers our currently working on the issue and we will update you as soon as we can provide more information.

[20:06 CST] We believe we’ve discovered the root cause of the issue. This issue should be resolved shortly.

[20:50 CST] This issue has been resolved and you should experience no further issues. Should you continue to experience issues please do not hesitate to contact support so that we may assist you further.

Cloud Sites – WC2.DFW1 | CRON Enabled

As of 2:05 PM CST, the Rackspace Cloud Systems engineers have temporarily disabled CRON in the WC2.DFW1 data center.  Once we’ve identified the source of the problem we will re-enable and update this post accordingly.  Currently, there is no ETA on when this will be
corrected but we’re working diligently to resolve.  If you have any questions, please contact

UPDATE: As of 4:55 PM CST, the Rackspace Cloud engineers have corrected the issues that required us to temporarily disable CRON in the WC2.DFW1 data center.

As of 10:50 AM CST, The Rackspace Cloud engineers have identified a problem causing degraded performance on our MA CACHE servers in our WC2.DFW1 data center.  This is an isolated issue and we’ve repaired the issue.  You may still see slowness as the cache rebuilds on this node.  If you have any questions, please contact
