We’ll be performing routine maintenance at our Miami facility from 23:50:00 UTC to 3:50:00 UTC. During this time, all services will be routed to alternate facilities. No services will be impacted during this time frame. The nature of this maintenance is entirely routine and we’re re-routing traffic as a precautionary measure only.

The Rackspace Cloud’s system engineering team will be performing several upgrades to our WC1 cluster infrastructure in our Dallas / Fort Worth, TX (DFW) data center to enhance stability and performance. The maintenance is scheduled to last four (4) hours, beginning on the morning of February 13 at 12:00 AM CST and ending at 04:00 AM CST. While connectivity during this window will be intermittent, some sites may be offline for as long as 30 minutes. As always, we will do everything we can to keep the interruptions to an absolute minimum.
We will provide additional updates throughout the maintenance window.

As of 7:49 PM CST, The Rackspace Cloud engineers have detected a problem causing intermittent issues with SSL in our SAT (San Antonio) data center. This is an isolated issue impacting a single Rackspace Cloud node. Please check this blog for updates as we work toward resolution.

UPDATE 9:12AM CST: The issues we encountered with our primary name server have been resolved and we do not expect any further complications. The SliceManager should now be back online and accessible at this time.
We are currently investigating an issue with our primary name server ‘ns1.slicehost.net’. During this time, the SliceManager will be unavailable as we work to resolve this matter as soon as possible.

At 4:33 CST, The Rackspace Cloud system administrators began
performing emergency maintenance on this database in our DFW data
center.
Maintenance will be performed on mysql50-25.wc1 and should be completed by 6:30am CST.
We
expect this maintenance to last no longer than the time listed. We
apologize for the inconvenience, but we need to complete this work in a
timely manner. Please note that no other technologies will be effected
by this maintenance.
UPDATE: This maintenance has been completed.
