Cloud Sites – Control Panel | Online

As of 5:35 PM CST, The Rackspace Cloud development team have determined there’s an issue with Cloud Sites customers being able to create domains in the control panel.  We apologize for this inconvenience and will update this blog post as we receive more information.

Cloud Sites – DFW 1 | MySQL 50-52.wc1 | Online

As of 12:32 PM CST, the Rackspace Cloud system engineers have detected an issue that’s causing degraded performance on MySQL Cluster 50-52 in our DFW1 Cloud Sites Data Center.  This is an isolated issue impacted this single node only.  We will update this post as the status changes. 

UPDATE: As of 1:18 PM CST, The Rackspace Cloud engineers have corrected the issue on MySQL cluster 50-52 by enabling READ ONLY status.  Websites on this node will function properly but no new data can be written at this time.

UPDATE: As of 1:50 PM CST, the Rackspace Cloud engineers have corrected the issue causing degradation in this cluster.  If you have any issues, please do not hesitate to contact a

Ruby Agent Incompatibility with Capistrano 2.5.16

A new version of the Capistrano gem has been released that will break the deployments capability in the RPM Ruby agent, all versions.
We will be releasing a patch tonight, version 2.10.4 that fixes this problem.  You can find the fix on our 2.10.4_dev branch on github.

Cloud Sites – WC2.DFW1 | CRON Enabled

As of 10:50 AM CST, The Rackspace Cloud System Engineers have temporarily disabled CRON in our WC2.DFW1 data center.  We’re working diligently to resolve some performance issues on this Cloud Sites node in order to re-enable.
