Our investigation into the EY01 issue has revealed a source: the switches. We’ll be replacing at least one of the switches in order to restore service to the cluster. More information to come shortly.

We are currently investigating issues for customers on the EY01 cluster. We’ll post more information as we gather details.

Cloud Sites | MySQL 5-1 | Degraded – At approximately 8:40 AM CST, The Rackspace Cloud engineers identified an issue on MySQL cluster 5-1 in our SAT1 data center. During this time, this cluster’s performance was degraded. As of 9:00 AM CST, the issue has been resolved, and performance has been restored. UPDATE 9:23AM CDT: We experienced a brief DOS attack in our STL-A data center. We have taken the necessary steps to resolve the attack and you should not have any further issues.

We aware that some customers may be experiencing packet loss in our STL-A data center. Our networking team is investigating the issue and we will update you further when we have additional information to provide.
