Potential Errors Due to Maintenance

We are performing some scheduled maintenance on the site; you may experience periods of elevated errors.

Cloud SItes | PHP5-13.dfw1-2 | Online

At approximately 11:50 AM CDT, the Rackspace Cloud engineers identified an issue on PHP cluster 5-13 in our DFW data center. While the cluster was running in a degraded state (customers were experiencing latency issues), our Engineers were able to resolve the issue as of 12:50 PM CDT.  We apologize for the delay in posting an update.

Temporarily Disabling "Who to Follow"

We’ve temporarily turned off the “Who To Follow” feature and will be restoring it as soon as possible. We were including people you already follow – we are investigating this issue.

Update at 2:15PM: This issue has been resolved.

Service disruption: Elevated error rates

At 12:14 PM PDT, the Amazon Flexible Payments Service (FPS) Co-Branded User Interface became unavailable and end users received error pages when attempting to sign in to authorize payment transactions. The issue was resolved and all requests were successful from 1:19 PM PDT.

Cloud Sites | Control Panel | Online

At approximately 1:45 PM CDT, Rackspace Cloud Engineers identified an issue with our Control Panel.  We are currently experiencing intermittent accessibility and some functionality may be degraded.  Our engineers are working diligently to identify and resolve the issues.

UPDATE: 2:10 PM CDT, complete functionality has been restored to the Control Panel, we greatly apologize for the issues presented.

DB crash at 4:45 AM

We had a database crash at about 4:45 AM PDT. It took  about 15 minutes to bring the DB back up and get things stablized. During that time some customers were unable to see or collect data. We apologize for any inconvenience. Filed under: Service Updates

8/28 6:55 PM CDT Limelight Connectivity Issues [RESOLVED]

We are currently experiencing issues with the Limelight CDN and our engineers our currently working on the issue. We will keep you updated on the status of this issue.

[UPDATE 8:00 PM CDT] The issue has been isolated and resolved and CDN functionality is now normal.

After a brief bit of site instability, we’ve temporarily turned off the “Suggestions for You” feature and will be restoring it as soon as possible.

Update at 6:05PM: This issue has been resolved.
