Please be advised our Chicago facility has a scheduled maintenance from Friday, September 3rd, 2010 at 08:00 UTC to 09:00 UTC. We will be re-routing our Chicago facility at 05:00 UTC to prepare for this maintenance. All services will be automatically re-routed to the closest alternate facility and no services will be impacted by this maintenance.

Earlier today, our Rackspace Cloud Engineers identified an issue that was causing email delays from a set of email relay servers. Our Engineers are diligently working to clear those emails out.
Update: As of 5:25 PM CDT, the queued mail from our relay servers have been cleared out. All email flow and delivery has resumed to normal.

We are aware that our site is down. We restarted our master database and it’s having problems coming back up. Update [9:30pm]: Our DBA has resolved the problem and the master database is up. The site should be up too. Filed under: Service Updates

Starting approximately 4:45 pm PST, GoGrid experienced an inbound DDOS attack. While our DDOS mitigation guard severely limited the impact of the DDOS attack on our network, several customers still reported issues. The DDOS attack was fully resolved at 18:00pm PST and traffic to our network is back at normal levels.
