We are investigating connectivity issues for a small number of instances in a single availability zone in the EU-WEST-1 region.
From 10:07 AM PST to 2:41 PM PST, users experienced slow processing of workflow events, including registration of backend instances and provisioning of new ELBs. The ELB service has processed the backlog of requests and is now operating normally.
Newly created environments are currently experiencing delays in provisioning and becoming available. All API requests and existing environments continue to work as expected.
We continue to work to restore the ELB service to normal operations. Users may experience slow processing of workflow events, including registration of backend instances or provisioning of new ELBs.

Between 1:51 PM and 2:16 PM PST the EC2 APIs experienced increased error rates and latencies in the US-EAST-1 Region. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
Between 1:13pm and 2:45pm PST a small number of customers reported connectivity issues to the US-East-1 Region. These issues were the result of degradation in an external carrier’s link. Amazon has routed around the carrier’s degraded links and the issue has been resolved.
