Between 02:23 am and 02:28 am PDT a number of RDS database instances in a single availability zone experienced connectivity issues in the US-EAST-1 Region. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.

We are currently experiencing delays in processing provisioning requests for RDS database instances in the US-EAST-1 region. We are working on resolving the issue. All existing RDS database instance are operating normally.

Between 4:15 AM and 6:01 AM PDT we experienced problems with the AWS RDS console and elevated API error rates for the RDS APIs in the US-EAST-1 region. The issue has been resolved and the service is currently operating normally.
